 Live Scan Fingerprinting is the process of capturing fingerprints electronically for submission to specific agencies, archiving, or fingerprint card printing. Used by governmental agencies and big corporations for over a decade, advancements in technology have now made it possible for independent companies to secure portable fingerprint labs suitable for use in the field.

The innovative LiveScan technology method involves:

• A skilled fingerprint technician will bring a portable, state-of-the-art fingerprint lab to the location of your choice
• Fingerprints are captured on a smooth, clean screen. The machine is able to detect unusable fingerprint captures, all but eliminating the chances fingerprints will be rejected during processing.
• Fingerprints are electronically transmitted immediately. Results can be obtained via email in as little as 3 – 48 hours.

Because they are taken and processed electronically, prints taken with LiveScan technology can be stored as part of our optional Fingerprint Archiving system. This allows people with frequent fingerprint requirements to simply call and have their prints forwarded to a specified destination.
